Secret competitors for Seemandhra capital city

Vizag, Vijayawada and Kurnool are in the list of capital cities for Seemandhra region. Apart from these cities, few more secret competitors are being observed for the race. Macharla and Prakasam District are now under consideration for SeemandhraÂ’s capital city.
Macharla is gaining attention due to its location. It is located centrally and hence can be a good capital city to the newly formed state. Prakasam District is connecting Coastal Andhra with Rayalaseema and hence the capital city can be closers to the hearts of the people in both the regions.
Another interesting aspect is that the vacancy of government lands in Vizag Vijayawada and Kurnool is a bit like scattered while government can get few acres of free land in the other 2 locations. More over, it is better to target under developed cities to build the capital rather than choosing a developed one. More development can be observed in the state as a whole.
