The former Indian captain, Virat Kohli is often regarded as one of the best players of the game. The reason for this is he had set the bar quite high and no player from the current era is near to his records. Today, Virat Kohli added one more feather in the ongoing Test match against Sri Lanka.

As an illustrious father in his cap, Run Machine Virat Kohli had surpassed the 8,000 runs mark in the Test format and became the sixth Indian batsman to do so. His record made him join the list of God of cricket Sachin Tendulkar, Little Master Sunil Gavaskar, Rahul Dravid, Virender Sehwag, and VVS Laxman.

Virat Kohli achieved the feat in his landmark match of the 100th Test. Marking the special occasion, BCCI had facilitated Kohli with a special memento and Cap. His family was also present. Kohli's wife Anushka Sharma and brother Vikas Kohli were present at the stadium.

However, Anushka Sharma had to face the heat from a section of fans who were not happy with the actress being present at the stadium. They asked what she was doing in the stadium.

A section of netizens have trolled Anushka Sharma for her presence on the field and asked the reason behind the same. However, a few fans came in support of Anushka saying that there is nothing wrong with family joining the special occasion.

This is not the first time Anushka Sharma became a target of trolls. In various instances, she was brutally trolled by the netizens. The attacks used to turn brutal when Kohli failed to make big runs.

On the flipside, Kohli never misses an opportunity to thank Anushka Sharma for the role she plays in his life. Calling her his lucky charm, Kohli always spoke positively about his wifey.

India had won the toss and decided to bat first. Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal gave a good start by making a 50-run partnership. However, India started to lose wickets at regular intervals.

India faced a big blow by losing the wicket of skipper Sharma who walked to the pavilion by scoring 29 runs. Mayank(33), Hanuma Vihari(58), and Kohli(45) also lost their wicket early.
