Security Upped At Pragathi Bhavan Post Revanth Threat

The TRS may have won Huzurnagar bypoll quite convincingly and the majority is even more telling. But, is the TRS comfortable and confident? If the security at the Pragathi Bhavan is any indication, the TRS seems to feel that there is more trouble for it in the days to come. More groups might stage dharnas and lay a siege to the Pragathi Bhavan more often. This could become a big news in the days to come.

So, the security at the Pragathi Bhavan has been upped. Additional security measures have been taken at the Pragathi Bhavan. In addition to the newly-arranged iron grill, an iron mesh has been installed. The security officials have taken very seriously Revanth Reddy's statement that he has managed to reach the Pragathi Bhavan gates despite the police security and that he would break open the gates one day.

Recently, constable job aspirants have also staged a dharna in front of the Pragathi Bhavan protesting against the normalisation. This came as a surprise to the security officials. Similarly, TRT PET candidates too staged a dharna in front of the Pragathi Bhavan. The RTC JAC leaders too have threatened to stage a dharna in front of the Pragathi Bhavan. Hence, the security officials are not taking any chances.
