Yes We are speaking about pro-Maoist balladeer Gaddar aka Gummadi Vithal Rao. The very same Gaddar now wants to help the TRS Government popularise its welfare schemes. He has applied for the post of artiste to popularise the welfare schemes like the two-bedroom house and three acre land for the landless. He said he is an artiste and has to eke out his livelihood. So, he is applying for the post, he said. This has come as a great surprise to many as Gaddar has been one of the staunchest critics of KCR and his government. He has time and again raised his voice against KCR. But, now he is singing a different song altogether.
During the assembly elections, there was a rumour that his son was joining the BJP and that he would be given the party ticket to contest elections. Though this has not happened, this has seriously dented his credibility as a revolutionary balladeer known for his trenchant opposition to the electoral politics.
