By: Tupaki Desk | 2 Aug 2013 8:15 AM GMTOnce upon a time, South Indian film industry means Telugu film industry in Tamil Nadu. The entire base of Andhra with respect to films used to be concentrated at Madras, Tamil Nadu. After the separate of Andhra and Tamil Nadu, film industry was formed in Hyderabad.
Till then, Andhra people used to focus on the film industry in Tamil Nadu and after the division of state, their focus came to Hyderabad. Now Andhra Prades is sub divided into Andhra and Telengana. Literally speaking Andhra wonÂ’t have any native film industry in its region.
Hence, a new film industry is expected to be formed in Vizag or Vijayawada. Till then, Seemandhra people may depend on the TelenganaÂ’s film industry. Tollywood may be with its name in future and the new industry that is going to come up in Andhra may be called as Aollywood!
