We have seen Leaders who claim they have been living to serve the people during the elections and focus on amassing illegal wealth after getting elected. Does any Leader dare to challenge that he/she would return the ill-gotten wealth they earned to the public?
Ramanamma is contesting the election of Cheruvu Annaram Gram Panchayat in Kattamguru Mandal, Nalgonda District. She decided to contest instead of her Husband as this seat was reserved for Woman.
An interesting challenge has been thrown by Ramanamma's Husband to the villagers - 'You can seize all of our assets if we earn anything more than what we have at present after winning the election'.
In fact, The Candidate's Husband placed this clause on the 100 rupee bond paper. This is how campaigning has been done during the Panchayat Polls by the couple. Can the MLA and MP Candidates dare to do the same?
