Send that Hero back to Prison: Govt to HC

Maharashtra Government informed Bombay High Court it willn't object if an order is being passed sending Sanjay Dutt back to prison if it feels rules were violated.
Apparently, Sanjay Dutt was released in February 2016, eight months in advance, from Yerwada Central Prison in Pune on grounds of good behaviour. After a petition was moved alleging violation of norms, Bombay High Court asked Maharashtra Government to submit an affidavit explaining the criteria chosen for measuring good behaviour of the Actor. HC even questioned State Government why he was released every despite being out on parole few times. Finally, BJP Government told HC there is no objection if Sanjay Dutt was sent back to prison.
Sanjay Dutt was sentenced for 5 years in prison for illegal possession of arms during 1993 Mumbai serial blasts. In 2013, Supreme Court upheld the ruling of TADA Court but reduced the jail term from 6 years to 5 years.
