Why No One Is Coming To Gandhi Bhavan?
By: Tupaki Desk | 4 Jan 2019 4:26 AM GMTThink Congress, its state headquarters Gandhi Bhavan readily comes to one's mind . The building, an iconic one that retains its old-world charm, is one of the biggest landmarks of the city. The building is witness to landmark events in the party. But, of late, no senior Congress leader worth his name is willing to visit the building. All important party meets are taking place in some swank hotel close to Gandhi Bhavan. The meetings are held in the Masab Tank area instead of Gandhi Bhavan.
The party review meetings, strategy planning sessions and other tactical meetings are held in hotels. All major leaders like PCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy, party affairs incharge Ramachandra Kunthia are meeting the party workers in hotels instead of Gandhi Bhavan. As a result, despite hectic activity in the party, the Gandhi Bhavan is wearing a deserted look. Is it because of some Vaastu issues or does anyone feel that it's a jinxed building? Well nobody knows . At this rate, the Gandhi Bhavan may soon pass into history.
Meanwhile Kunthia is going to Visit Hyderabad on Friday to review the party position in the 17 segments of Adilabad, Peddapalli, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Zahirabad and Warangal Lok Sabha seats. On Saturday, he would review Nagarkurnool, Mahabubabad, Khammam, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda and Bhongir constituency.
