Senior MP Blames Unemployment For Increase In Unmarried Youth!
By: Tupaki Desk | 5 Jan 2023 2:09 PM GMTThe population of unmarried people has been increasing in India due to various reasons. Youth preferring settling prior to getting married to have a better life can be said as a big reason behind this. Moreover, women are not shying away from preferring better candidates.
But a senior politician surprised many by linking it with the growing unemployment. Saying that unemployment is growing at a rapid pace, the veteran political leader said due to this men are unable to get brides to get married.
Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar said that the unemployment rate is increasing rapidly and due to lack of income men are unable to find brides for marriages. Flagging the inflation, the veteran leader said these serious issues are getting sidelined due to the BJP.
Shedding light on inflation, the Rajya Sabha members said that the Union government is not showing interest in creating good space for the industries to prosper and grow and that's why the firms are moving. He said that many industries went out of Maharashtra with this.
Narrating an experience, the Parliamentarian said that once he found a few youths sitting idle in a park and when he asked them about this they replied saying that they are graduates and they are unable to get employment, and they are sitting idle.
Though what Sharad Pawar said is partially true. We cannot blame the growing unemployment for everything. It has to be mentioned here that the Covid impact is still intact and the economy is struggling to come out of it.
