Senior Police Official Dies Of Virus In Telangana

Many politicians, government officials, film and sports celebrities continue to be affected by the novel coronavirus. Some of them even die from the severity of the virus. An Additional Superintendent of Police (ADSP) rank official died due to COVID-19 at a private hospital in Karimnagar.
Jagtial Additional Superintendent of Police Dakshina Murthy was recently diagnosed with the disease and was admitted to a private hospital in Karimnagar. The official breathed his last Tuesday night as his health condition deteriorated. According to reports, he will retire at the end of this month. Dakshina Murthy belonged 1989 batch had been served as an SI, CI and DSP. He played an active role in Naxals operation.
Meanwhile, Telangana now has 1,11,688 cases after 3018 new infections reported in the last 24 hours. The death toll stands at 780 with 10 additional casualties.
