Seniors Sulk As Bjp Promotes Newcomers In Telangana
By: Tupaki Desk | 12 Oct 2021 3:13 AM GMTThere is deep discontent in the Telangana BJP over the constitution of the newly constituted national executive committee. Several seniors have been quietly shown the door and newcomers have been given a place in the national executive. A large number of seniors are now not part of any party forum.
Vijayasanthi and Eatala, both new entrants, have been made special invitees to the national executive. New entrant into the party – Garikapati – has been made a member of the national executive committee. On the other hand, seniors like Nallu Indrasena Reddy, former MLC N Ramachandra Rao, former NEC member Perala Sekhar Rao , who were members of the NEC, are now removed. Many expected Ramachandra Rao to find a place in the NEC. Though he has shifted to Delhi, he has ot been considered.
Interestingly, none of these seniors are active in the campaign in Huzurabad. Indrasena Reddy is confined to Malakpet, while Perala Sekhar Rao is embroiled in the Lingojiguda controversy. His role in approaching the TRS leader KTR to make Lingojiguda division bypoll unanimous is now under question. Sekhar Rao has been completely sidelined.
Of the seniors, only minister G Kishan Reddy has been made a member of the national executive. Sources say that even Kishan Reddy has been told not to meddle in the party affairs in Telangana state. The national leadership has given a freehand to Bandi Sanjay.
