Settle Dues or Face Action: Centre to Mallya!

While responding on Vijay Mallya's Rs 9,000 crore dues, The Union Minister advised the Liquor Baron to honorably settle the dues with the banks. He informed Banks have some securities of companies and properties of Mallya. He further says legal action will be taken and investigation agencies will be involved if dues remain unsettled.
On March 2nd, Vijay Mallya left India in a Jet Airways flight. He is believed to be at his mansion in London ever since then.
As many as 16 banks offer Mallya to the tune of Rs 7,800 crore over the years. State Bank of India alone sanctioned Rs 1,600 crore loan to the Kingfisher Airlines.
