Settlers key to success in 7 new municipalities

Settler, till recently,was a cuss word and ultra regionalist parties like the TRS wanted the settlers to go back to their native places and leave Telangana alone. But, it's a different story now. Settlers are the most sought after voters these days. Their vote power is making even regional chauvinists to prostrate before them.
In most of the municipalities that have been carved out around the GHMC, the settlers are ruling the roost. They have numerical dominance that parties cannot afford to ignore. In the newly constituted municipalities like Nizampet, Jawaharnagar, Peerjadiguda, Boduppal, Mirpet, Badangpet, Bandlaguda Jagir, Dammaiguda, Nagaram, Pocharam, Ghatkesar, Gundlapochampalli, Thumukunta, Kompalli, Dundigal, Bollaram, Tellapur and Aminpur, the setters are present in large numbers.
Settlers from coastal Andhra region about in Dammaiguda, Kushaiguda, Peerjadiguda, Kompalli, Aminpur and other places. In Kompally, voters from the Raju community dominate with their financial and numerical power. But, it's not just settlers from Andhra region, who are dominating the scene, Settlers from Nalgonda and Mahabubnagar are dominating the scene in Badangpet, Mirpet, Pirjadiguda. In Boduppal and Jawaharnagar, settlers from Nalgonda are in a majority. In Jawaharnagar, a large number of settlers are also from Gajwel, Pragnapur and Siddipet.In Bandlaguda, there are a large number of settlers from Tandur, Vikarabad, Chevella and Parigi. In Tellapur and Aminpur, the setters are mostly from the erstwhile Medak district.
Thus, setters are going to play a key role in at least seven newly carved out municipalities, The parties are trying to rope in leaders from these districts to campaign among the migrants from their districts.
