Seven districts in AP make it to the list of top 30 severely hit districts in India!

The Corona situations in the state of Andhra Pradesh have reached an alarming level. The state has been witnessing the highest single-day infections and casualties. For two consecutive days, Andhra Pradesh reported over 20k cases.
On the other hand, the state is also seeing problematic numbers in fresh Covid-19 casualties. On Wednesday, not less than 85 patients have breathed their last battling the virus. As of Wednesday, the state recorded a total of 8374 Covid deaths.
Andhra Pradesh has to worry about the situation in the state as seven districts in the state have made it to the list of top thirty districts that are severely hit by the Covid-19 outbreak in the country.
The list of the top thirty severely-hit districts was announced by the Union Government on Wednesday. Chittoor, Srikakulam, East Godavari, Guntur, Visakhapatnam, Anantapur, and Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh were mentioned in the list.
The worst-hit districts mentioned in the list across the states recorded a positivity rate of more than 20 percent.
As per the report of the Union Health Ministry, God's Own Country Kerala has the highest number of districts that are severely hit by the pandemic with 10 districts. Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Uttarakhand are next on the list.
