Shaheen Bagh To Continue Protests Pespite Corona Virus!

While the whole nation is preparing itself for the Janata Curfew and several celebrities, including Akshay Kumar, Amithabh Bachchan, Chiranjeevi and Virat Kohli have fully backed the Prime Minister’s move, the Shaheenbagh protesters are adamant on carrying on their protest even on Sunday, when the Janata Curfew is being organised.
The Shaheen Bagh protesters are defying the health precautions given by the government and are thus putting the whole country to a major epidemic risk. Though the leaders of the protests, including Taseer Ahmed, say that they will maintain the distance between the protesters and will arrange chains instead of mattresses. In addition, sanitisers and masks too would be made available, he said. However, this protest is a major health risk as even one corona positive protester could lead to the massive spread of the epidemic.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has appealed to the protesters to call of their stir in view of the Corona health crisis. But, the protesters seem to be paying no heed. Let’s see how the Government will handle these protests.
