Shakeela To Be Congress Star Campaigner In Tamil Nadu!

Yesteryear sensation Shakeela who acted in all Southern industries and established herself as a heartthrob of Youth in the 90s shifted her focus to politics. Shakeela joined the Congress party.
Ahead of the Assembly elections, Shakeela joined the Tamil Nadu wing of Congress. Congress leaders have also presented the membership card to Shakeel at the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee(TNCC) headquarters Satyamurthy Bhavan.
Shakeela received a plum post in the Human rights department of Congress party. The pictures of Shakeela receiving the Congress party membership from the leaders went viral on social media. Earlier too, she expressed her willingness to foray into politics.
After receiving her membership letter, Shakela addressed the media. Talking about the decision, she said she took the decision to join politics with a sole motive to serve the people, and being in the political outfits makes serving people easy.
When asked whether she will leave her acting career to work in the Congress party, Shakeela said, she would like to do both acting and campaigning for the party.
Congress party is likely to make Shakeela the star campaigner and she will take care of the campaign very soon.
Shakeela was so popular in the 90s that producers even changed the release dates of their films not to collide with her films. There are some instances where big heroes changed their release dates.
In her career spanning over 25 years, Shakeela appeared in over 100 films across Mollywood, Kollywood, Tollywood, Sandalwood, and Oriya industries. She started her acting career with Play Girls in 1995.
