'Chanakya' Sharad Pawar Outwins BJP plans
By: Tupaki Desk | 27 Nov 2019 8:42 AM GMTIn a shocking turn of events, Ajit Pawar, nephew of Sharad Pawar shocked NCP and supported the BJP party in the government formation. Everyone thought Sharad Pawar cannot come out of this crisis, but he rose high from the ashes like a phoenix.
Following the order of Supreme Court, Ajit Pawar and Devandra Fadnavis resigned from their posts making the new Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress ally to form the government.
The Political analysts are siting that NCP chief won Man of the Match and Man of the Series awards by standing still facing the tricks of Amit Shah and Narendra Modi and being the key force behind the resign of Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar.
Looking back into his political history, he was a former Congress leader who enjoyed a good name in the party. Later after facing some internal issues, he started a new party against the Congress party and served Maharashtra as Chief Minister for four terms.
He even opposed Sonia Gandhi, taking a dig at her foreign roots and later allied with the Congress party only.
With the long term friendly parties Shiv Sena and BJP mending their ways, Sharad Pawar took a dare chance. He became successful in bringing arch-rivals Shiv Sena and Congress under one roof.
Sharad even made sure that MLAs who are supporting his are not deviated by the offers given by the BJP party. His strong-mindedness helped the party trio to remain confident about forming the new government in the Maratha land.
