Shashi Tharoor faces magistrate over wife death

A day after Sunanda Pushkar was cremated; her husband and Union Minister Shashi Tharoor was questioned by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate .Officials have questioned Tharoor for more than a hour on mysterious death of Sunanda and on they also tried to get the details of his relation with Pakistan journalist Mehr Tarar. The officials recorded the statements and Tharoor reportedly revealed about her verbal fight with Sunanda before death.
Media reports claim of Tharoor accepted of having good relations with Tarar but did not specify the nature of relationship.
It was known that SunandaÂ’s preliminary post-mortem report given by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and the doctorÂ’s panel called her death unnatural and sudden. The doctors said there were certain injuries on her body but refused to reveal the nature of these injuries. They also ruled that injuries could not have led to her death.
Police also investigating on SunandaÂ’s Alleged links to the IPL and involvement with bookies .Meanwhile, Tharoor wrote to Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde for speedy investigation and complete co-operation to the case.
