Congress leader, Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor took a jibe at Union Home Minister Amit Shah for getting himself admitted to a private hospital instead of AIIMS after testing positive for the virus.
He took to Twitter and tweeted why Amit Shah preferred private hospital over AIIMS for treatment that too in an adjacent state. He shared a Tweet in which a Twitter user termed AIIMS as modern temples of India.
Amit Shah became the first Union Cabinet Minister to contact the virus. It has been reported that Amit Shah was admitted to a private hospital in Gurgaon.
Amit Shah contacted the respiratory disease on Sunday and he himself confirmed the news through Twitter. He urged people who came in contact with him to undergo pandemic tests.
