Shastri Bhavan Sealed After Law Ministry Official Tests COVID-19 Positive

Some close circles stated that an officer from the Law Ministry on the fourth floor of the Shastri Bhavan that houses several ministries developed positive symptoms of the dreaded virus.
As a result, 'A' wing from gate number 1 to gate number 3 on the fourth floor has been sealed and the sanitizing works are in progress. Till Wednesday, some gates and lifts will also be closed.
The officials said that many precautions and measures were being taken as per the guidelines issued by the Centre and the building will be closed for 48 hours and sanitizing works are being done.
The authorities have been tracing the details of the people who might have come in contact with the infected person. This is the first time the government building got sealed with the spread of the virus.
Earlier, Niti Aayog, Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, which houses the Civil Aviation Ministry, was sealed for sanitization following the detection of the positive cases of COVID-19.
