Shatrughan Sinha's Wife Poonam Sinha is the richest candidate in the fifth phase of Lok Sabha Polls. She is the Candidate of Samajwadi Party for Lucknow Lok Sabha Constituency. Poonam Sinha who is the Mother of Bollywood Actress Sonakshi Sinha declared assets worth Rs 193 crore in the affidavit.
As per the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), Poonam Sinha is the richest candidate with assets worth Rs 193 crore. She was followed by Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party candidate from Sitapur Vijay Kumar with Rs 177 crore net worth and BJP candidate from Hazaribagh Jayant Sinha with assets worth Rs 77 crore.
About 3 Candidates in fray for Lok Sabha Polls fifth phase declared zero assets.
About 184 out of 668 candidates contesting in fifth phase have assets worth Rs 1 crore or more. Majority of these leaders are representing BJP.
Altogether 674 candidates are in fray for fifth phase Lok Sabha Polls scheduled to happen on May 6th.
