Sheena Bora was murdered by her Mother Indrani Mukerjea, her second husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyamvar Rai on April 24th, 2012 inside a car. Later, Her body was dumped in the Raigad Forest by the trio. Former Star India CEO and Indrani's husband Peter Mukerjea is part of the murder conspiracy. All of them were sent behind the bars and Driver Shyamvar Rai turned approver.
Peter Mukerjea's Son from previous marriage Rahul was in a relationship with Sheena Bora and they were supposed to get married. After Sheena Bora went missing, Rahul repeatedly persuaded his father Peter and stepmom Indrani to reveal about her whereabouts. They, however, misled him with different versions. While Indrani told Sheena doesn't want to meet Rahul anymore and she had gone to a foreign country, Peter said he had spoken to Sheena after April 24th. Rahul recorded the conversations with Peter and Indrani using his Blackberry phone. Now, this call data has become crucial for the case.
The Audio Clips proved Peter Mukerjea's claims during the police interrogation that he doesn't knew Sheena Bora was dead were false.
