Though Congress is in fray for Nandyal by-poll, The major contest is going to be between TDP and YSR Congress. Already, YCP Candidate Shilpa Mohan Reddy is doing everything that's required for emerging as a winner.
Meanwhile, Akhila Priya pledged to quit politics if her brother Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy faces defeat in Nandyal by-poll. In counter, Shilpa Mohan Reddy declared he willn't continue in politics if he gets defeated.
Shila Mohan Reddy is trying to strengthen the cadre base of YCP in Nandyal. He succeeded in luring former TDP Councillor & Bhuma Nagireddy's close aide Gopinath Reddy into YSRC ahead of the by-poll. During this meeting, Shilpa declared he is accepting the challenge thrown by Akhila Priya. TDP Leaders who joined YCP informed that they have shifted loyalties because of the attitude of Akhila Priya.
Defections into YCP & Group Wars within Nandyal TDP are worrying Akhila Priya. This by-election will test her ability to handle pressure & decide her future!
