5 Airlines ban MP who assaulted AI Official

Post the assault, Two FIRs have been registered against the Parliamentarian. Employees informed Air India that they would neither attend to Gaikwad nor let him enter the flight again. Following which, Air India informed Shiv Sena about barring Gaikwad from flying.
The Federation of Indian Airlines (FIA) which have Jet Airways, SpiceJet, IndiGo and GoAir as its members took the decision to impose a ban on MP Ravindra Gaikwad. A joint statement has been issued by all the five airlines in this regard. As a result, The return flight ticket from Delhi to Pune has been cancelled.
Despite a huge uproar over the assault, Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad refused to apologise to the Air India Official whom he assaulted. Now, Air India is toying with the idea of preparing a no-fly list to teach a lesson to such unruly passengers.
