MLAs Revolt: Shiv Sena to Face TDP's Fate?

In a big development in Maharashtra politics, the Maha Vikas Aghadi is on the verge of getting collapsed as the rebel leaders took the side of Cabinet Minister Eknath Shinde and are supporting him. More than 40 MLAs are supporting him and the chances of change in the government in the state are quite high.
Eknath Shinde is making his stand clear that unless Shiv Sena forms ties with Bharatiya Janata Party again he and the rebel MLAs will not support the Shiv Sena or the alliance. Shiv Sena is very close to leaving its government as far as the MLA count is concerned.
Not just that, reports also say that Eknath Shinde is reportedly aiming to take control of the Shiv Sena party as the majority of the party MLAs are supporting him. If the same happens then it will be a big blow for the stringent Hindutva party Shiv Sena.
Despite current Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray's father Bal Thackeray founding the Shiv Sena party for the rights of the Marathi people and Hindutva ideology, there is a possibility that Eknath Shinde can claim control over the party if the MLAs support him.
If we go back into history, a similar situation happened in Telugu politics. Back in 1995, there was a big revolution among the Telugu Desam Party leaders who were not happy with the party's founder chief Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.
The rebel leaders who were not happy with NTR took the side of Nara Chandrababu Naidu and threatened to take control of the party reportedly and close to 80 percent of MLAs supported NTR's son-in-law Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
In the following events, Chandrababu Naidu became the Chief Minister of the state which was combined back then. The revelry led to a change in the leadership of the party and the state as well.
The political observers are comparing both the incidents and are saying that if the ongoing political crisis in Maharashtra continues then the government might also change along with Eknath Shinde taking control of Shiv Sena. We have to wait and see what happens next.
