Shiv Sena's dream of forming the government ends?
By: Tupaki Desk | 5 Nov 2019 9:25 AM GMTShiv Sena went to Maharashtra elections with an alliance with BJP. After the election results, it demanded BJP to share the ruling period and seats with a ratio of 50:50.
BJP did not agree to the demands of Shiv Sena and offered deputy CM post to them. Shiv Sena, which is very firm on its decision reportedly held talks with NCP and Congress to form the government.
Shiv Sena was shocked hearing NCP chief Sharad Pawar's statement. Reportedly, he said that they do not want to be a part of the ruling coalition. He added that the public gave them opposition status and they will obey the opinion of the public. Sharad Pawar reportedly met with Sonia Gandhi and discussed having an alliance with Shiv Sena.
Sonia Gandhi reportedly said no to this alliance and as a result, Pawar said they will be in opposition. This news has ended the dream of Shiv Sena to form the government. We may have to wait a few more days to see how Shiv Sena handles this issue.
