Shock To TDP: ZPTC Candidates Join YSRCP

The TDP may be rejoicing over the postponement of the local body elections in Andhra Pradesh, but it has another problem to contend with. The candidates who got the B forms from the party are now ditching it. They are now joining the YSRCP in drones. This means, the party will virtually give a walkover to the YSRCP now as there would be no official TDP candidate in the fray.

For instance, in West Godavari district's Poduru, TDP ZPTC candidate Nadimpalli Venkata Sivaramakrishnam Raju has joined the YSRCP. He has joined the YSRCP in the presence of minister Cherukuwada Sriranganatha Raju. The candidate said that he would extend complete and unstinted support to YSRCP candidate Peddiraju. There are reports of similar resignations from other parts of the state too.

Besides minister, YSRCP candidate Gunturi Peddiraju and others were present on the occasion.
