UP CM Yogi Adityanath is out to deport every Rohingya and Pakistani in Hyderabad. He has been merciless when it comes to Pakistan. But the shock of the shock of Yogi Adityanath, a Pakistani has managed to become a sarparnch under his very nose.
Strange but true. A Pakistani woman has become the sarpanch of a village panchayat in UP's Etawa district. This woman, identified as Bano Begum is from Karachi in Pakistan, came to India on a Pakistan visa. Later, she stayed in Etawa and applied and got a long term visa. Then she married a local and began staying in India on a Pakistani visa. Recently, she managed to get an Aadhar and a voter identity card. She contested the elections and was elected deputy sarpanch. The sarpanch died a few months ago and she became the acting sarpanch. The issue came to the notice when a village complained against her saying that she was a Pakistani.
On enquiry, it was proved that she was indeed a Pakistani citizen and is living in India on a long-term visa. The Yogi government has initiated action against her.
