Deepa who is the daughter of Jayalalithaa's Brother Jayakumar claimed she is the true political successor of her aunt since couple of months. This didn't go down well with AIADMK and Sasikala's Camp. Hence, Deepa wasn't allowed to stand beside the mortal remains of Jayalalithaa at Rajaji Hall even for one minute.
The very next day, Deepa went to Jayalalithaa Memorial at Marina Beach to pay last respects to her aunt. Speaking to media persons, She pledged to expose those people who divided the family of Jayalalithaa. Within minutes, People reached the memorial site in huge numbers and extended their support to her.
And now, Deepa Fans Associations have been formed at many parts of Tamil Nadu. Even several flexis and banners were arranged with the photos of Jayalalithaa and Deepa. AIADMK Leaders and Cadre aren't happy with these developments. They questioned how could Deepa use the photos of Jayalalithaa? AIADMK Activists removed the flexis out of anger. Whereas, Deepa's Supporters used black paint on the flexis in which Sasikala's face appeared with Jayalalithaa.
