Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao(KTR) opened fire at the opposition parties while addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan.
Lashing out at opposition leaders for making comments against Telangana Chief Minister KCR, KTR cited the example of Maharashtra.
Remember what happened in Maharashtra. A Central Minister was arrested for making comments against the Chief Minister. But here, opposition leaders make unnecessary comments against the Chief Minister, KTR told the media.
The opposition leaders who make comments against KCR are not even equal to KCR's toe nail. But they pass comments against him, KTR said.
The IT Minister had breathed fire against TPCC chief Revanth Reddy and said he is making big claims against the Chief Minister.
The Congress party, the main opposition in the state, had made the person who joined Congress from another party as the state chief. A person who is the accused in the case was made the TPCC chief, KTR said.
How can we let go when the opposition leaders are targeting a person, who fought for Telangana and became the Chief Minister of the state for two terms with the blessings of the people, KTR asked.
There is a certain limit to patience. We have tried our level best to maintain a dignity in politics. But we were forced to use abusive language to give it back to those who use the same, he said.
When a Union Minister made comments against the Chief Minister, he was arrested in Maharashtra despite him being a Minister. Should we do the same here also?, KTR maintained.
During the media interaction, KTR was asked about the ugly war of words between TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy and TRS Minister Malla Reddy.
As a response to the question, KTR said Malla Reddy just replied to Revanth Reddy in his own style. It was the opposition leaders, who started the usage of abusive language. The TRS leaders are giving strong replies, he said.
KTR asked the media personnel present at the media interaction why they don't ask the same question to Revanth Reddy on the usage of abusive language.
