Shruti Haasan is regarded as an multi-faceted actress in the Industry. Besides acting, she does composition and at times turns into playback singer as well. She crooned for the song Shut Up Your Mouth in the Tamil remake of Telugu hit Ala Modalaindhi. She revealed that it's a fun song and will be like an item number in the movie.

The film stars Gatham Karthik who debuted with Mani Ratnam Kadali, Rakul Preet Singh and Nikesha Patel. While Gautham and Rakul Preet will be seen in the roles of Nani and Nithya Menon. Nikesha Patel gets into the shoes of Sneha Ullal and the item number will be shot on her.
