SI turns Thief in Hyderabad

What came as a shock to many is the arrest of a Sub-Inspector on charges of Theft in Hyderabad on Friday.
On Thursday night, Almasguda-based businessman M Shiva Prasad returned home from vacation. To his shock, He found SI J Mahender Reddy coming out of his bathroom, the articles in the house were scattered and window grill was removed.
Soon, Shiva Prasad got hold of Mahender Reddy and alerted the Meerpet Police. Cops reached the spot and took the SI into custody. A Case under relevant sections of theft was booked against him and released on bail later.
Mahender Reddy is posted with the Central Crime Station. He is currently part of the team probing the encounter of terror suspect Viqaruddin.
