Why not Buffalo Races if Jallikattu was allowed?

Now, Karnataka Government follows the same path to revoke ban on traditional Kambala (buffalo race). A ban was imposed on Kambala after PETA moved Karnataka High Court last year.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah told his Government supports Kambala and it want the Centre to lift the ban imposed against it, just alike it was done in the case of Jallikattu. Interestingly, Main Opposition BJP joined chorus with ruling Congress Government in this matter.
Organisers of Kambala has filed petitions in High Court seeking lift of stay against the traditional sport. These petitions will come up for hearing on January 30th.
In support of Kambala, Hundreds of people will stage a protest at the Swaraj Maidan along with 250 pairs of buffaloes on January 28th. Kambala Organising Committee decided to conduct the buffalo race ahead of the court hearing.
