Bollywoods tumbling Superstar has simply kept his costly thoughts aside and is now banking on masala films in the likes of Salman and Akshay to score a blockbuster. But this work is earning satires from film quarters, mainly from South heroes and Tamil ones in particular.
Family hero Siddharth commented that the trailer of Chennai Express is simply amazing for its quality in exposing South culture. The trailer of this latest flick featuring Shahrukh and Deepika Padukone is released now, and it has all those mass masala elements we regularly see in 90s Telugu and Tamil flicks. In one way, it might look quite silly and the film may go for a blockbuster run, but on the other side this is nothing but a sheer insult to South makers. The way Shahrukh Khan hits goons, the way he kicks out vehicles from his way are exaggerated to the core, taking a dig at south flicks. That is why Siddharth felt that Chennai Express is amazing in highlighting south culture.
But what catches the attention of one and all in this flick are scenes lifted by movies like Okkadu and Indra. So let us see if this mass-masala flick will bless Shahrukh with a hit or if it will push him into neck deep flops.
