Sidhu joins Congress ahead of Polls

Ahead of Punjab Assembly Polls, Cricketer-turned-Politician Navjot Singh Sidhu Today joined Congress party. He claims to be born as Congressman and have back to his roots finally.
Sidhu makes it clear he is fighting for the redemption of Punjab and there is no personal rivalry with anyone. Targeting the Punjab CM Badal, He commented that Government which was supposed to be for the welfare of people have become family affair.
When quizzed if he would be the CM Candidate of Congress party, Sidhu said it's too early to speak about it. He expressed his willingness to work under anyone picked up by Congress Leadership.
The Former Cricketer revealed he choose to quit BJP because of its alliance with Akali Dal but he personally chose Punjab.
