Singers team up for National games

Bollywood Lyricist Javed Akhtar and composer and singer Hariharan are working together to bring out the theme song of the 35th National Games. The games which set to start on January 31 in Tiruvananthapuram.
According to media statement of the team Akhtar has penned the lyrics for the three minute signature song in Hindi. For this Hariharan has composed the music for it. The organizers are planning to launch the theme song in a big way some time in December. An oficial who not wished to disclose his name revealed its releasing plans as "A promo film on the event is being worked out and the theme song would be played in the background.It will take another three weeks more for the song to be ready and we are planning to have the launch in Delhi". In along with Javed Akthar and Hariharan, singers Yesudas, Shreya Ghosal, Salim Merchant and Shruti Haasan will share their voice
