By: Tupaki Desk | 24 April 2018 7:57 AM GMTUnion Minister Jayant Sinha's Father & Former Union Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha rated the rule of Modi Government worse than Indira Gandhi's Emergency. 'People in the country are feeling insecure because of the manner in which Modi Government destroyed the temple of democracy. No community feels secure,' he said to the reporters at his residence.
The BJP Veteran resigned to the party and quit politics permanently on April 21st, 2018. He clarified his resignation has nothing to do with his Son's birthday (April 21st) and it's just a coincidence.
On the washout of Budget Session, Mr.Sinha didn't mind saying such things happened as Modi doesn't want the House to function smoothly. He recalled Vajpayee hadn't hesitated to table the No Confidence Motion in parliament though there was a treat to his Government in 1998.
Yashwant Sinha alleged Centre is trying to control Supreme Court, Election Commission and Press. He accused Union Government of using agencies such as CBI, NIA, ED and Income Tax to it's advantage.
The Veteran wished to fight for the distressed farmers, workers of unorganized sector, youth and weaker sections are retiring from politics. He complained about the lack of democracy with BJP by saying, 'Only the Leaders speak, Cadres have no guts to raise their voices'.
