Union Minister Smriti Irani expressed her anguish over the media coverage of Sridevi's demise in Dubai. As an Information & Broadcasting Minister, She found the indignity thrust upon a legend like Sridevi in the media coverage was highly condemnable.
Smriti Irani slammed Media for chasing the ambulance which brought the mortal remains of Sridevi from Mumbai airport to her residence. 'Viewers are disgusted…Ask Anyone,' she said in a serious tone.
Veteran Actor Rishi Kapoor breathed fire on Media for reporting, 'The body will be brought to Mumbai in the night!'. He questioned, 'How has Sridevi all of a sudden become the 'body'?'.
Until the Dubai authorities closed the death case citing accidental drowning, Indian Media began desperately tried to find ways to establish it as a big conspiracy. And now, Telugu Media is bothered about who would inherit the properties of Sridevi. What kind of Journalism is this?
