Smriti Irani Carries Close Aide's Mortal Remains

Amethi MP Smriti Irani reached Barauli Village with hours after her close aide Surendra Singh was murdered. In the presence of Surendra Singh's Family, She took a pledge that murderers won't be spared and Supreme Court will be approached for death sentence if needed. Smriti Irani attended the funeral and didn't even hesitate to be one of the pall bearers of the party worker.
On Sunday afternoon, Surendra Singh was shot dead by unidentified men when he was sleeping. His Son Abhay Singh suspects Congress Leaders could be behind the murder as his Father strived hard for the victory of Smriti Irani in Amethi. Even Smriti Irani praised Surendra Singh's hard work during her speeches. Cops haven't been ruling out the political motive behind the murder.
Rahul Gandhi has been representing Amethi constituency since 2004. The 3-time MP was defeated by Smriti Irani by a margin of 55,000 votes in 2019 Elections.
