Social Drinfotainment Platform Booozie To Offer Free Liquor Delivery
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 Sep 2020 11:39 AM GMTInnovent Technologies brand Booozie that claims to endorse responsible and moderate drinking has come up with a rather innovative idea, a social drinking platform. The firm called the platform a first of its kind in the world.
The social networking platform offers a database of bars/clubs, offers to the users along with the drinking events that are happening in and around the area of the users.
Along with the liquor brands and MRPs, the app-based platform delivers tamper-proof liquor to the users that too free of cost.
The app-based platform functions as a delivery aggregator. The app picks liquor bottles from the liquor outlets with upfront payment. With no extra commission, the liquor will be provided to the users.
The good thing about this app is that a portion of the proceedings from Booozie will go to the National Defence Fund and the Covid-19 Relief Funds of the respective funds.
However, as a pilot project, the app will render its services in three states, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Odisha. The app will come into action in the three states very soon.
Talking about the new service, founders Vivekanand Balijepalli and Susovan Mazumder said that the difference between the consumer demand and market supply is the reason for this app.
While conceptualizing the flagship app Booozie, the founders have also found out that social stigma associated with alcohol plays a vital role in this.
