Hurdles For AP Minister's Dream @ 2019

Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy has unsuccessfully contested in the last 3-4 Assembly elections on TDP Ticket. Even the support of Jana Sena and BJP didn't fetch him victory in the 2014 Polls. He, however, was able to attain MLC and Cabinet Berth based on his seniority & loyalty. He is known to be loyal to Chandrababu Naidu & won't spare any leader who criticizes Telugu Desam Party.
Somireddy is determined to win as MLA at least in the 2019 Elections. He already began lobbying for Sarvepalli MLA Ticket with an assurance over victory to Party Leadership. However, Nellore TDP Leaders aren't happy with the proposal. They say, Somireddy should prefer Nellore Rural, where party is weak, instead of Sarvepalli.
Whereas, Somireddy is reluctant to contest from the constituency where TDP's chances of victory look bleak. He is so particular about contesting from Sarvepalli in the next elections.
If he fails to win in yet another election, Somireddy might stop thinking about electoral polls and focus only on nominated posts. This is why 2019 Elections will be crucial for his political career.
