Somu Veerraju claims credit for Vizag Railway Zone!!

Now that the long-pending Vizag railway zone issue has been amicably solved, the game to claim credit for the same has begun. Leading the pack is BJP AP president Somu Veerraju. He said the BJP has been fighting for the declaration of Vizag as a separate railway zone for a long time. He said due to the BJP's incessant fight, the separate railway zone has now become a reality.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has showered largess on Andhra Pradesh in the recent budget. He said that effective lobbying by the state BJP has made the national leadership realise the importance of the Vizag special railway zone. He said that the delay in the Konaseema Railway line is mainly because of the failure of the State Government to allocate its share for the construction of the project.
ON the Kadapa-Bangalore railway line too, the state government has not paid its share of the expenditure, he said. Somu Veerraju added that the BJP would wage a struggle against the state government for ignoring the state's interest. He said that Andhra Pradesh was losing mainly because of the neglect by the state government.
