Somu Veerraju Is The Frontrunner

BJP Leaders and Cadre have the feeling that the soft approach of Kambhampati Haribabu as the AP Unit Chief isn't doing any good to the party. There is immense pressure on the BJP Central Leadership to appoint a new party chief to launch a spirit fight against TDP Government which took an u-turn after four years.
Until recently, Names of Manikyala Rao, Vishnu Kumar Raju and Somu Veerraju are under consideration. There is even buzz that Manikyala Rao was confirmed as AP BJP Chief by the leadership.
As per the latest update, BJP Leadership has almost finalized Somu Veerraju as the new President of AP Unit. Though Manikyala Rao was offered the post initially, The Former Minister expressed his disinterest to take up the responsibility. Finally, Somu Veerraju is being preferred considering his loyalty to the party and the manner in which he is fighting the lone battle against TDP.
There are two camps in AP BJP. While Haribabu and Kamineni Srinivas are in one Group, Purandeswari, Somu Veerraju, Kanna Lakshminarayan, Kavuri and Vishnu Kumar Raju are part of the Group which took anti-TDP Stand. How does TDP react to the elevation of Somu Veerraju?
