Chief of Bharatiya Janata Party for the state of Andhra Pradesh Somu Veerraju is a firebrand leader who doesn't shy away from voicing his opinion on various issues. The MLC is known for his fierce nature and after he was made the chief, he is aggressively attacking and targeting the ruling YSRCP on every possible issue.

The AP BJP President is in the news for the wrong reason and he created a ruckus while having an argument with the cops. Somu Veerraju made all the arrangements to meet fellow party leaders and their family members. However, the cops said no to this and said that he has no permission to do so.

It is known that Amalapuram saw violent protests over the district renaming row. The saffron party leader was supposed to meet the victims and the party leaders in Ravulapalem. But he was stopped by the cops as they told him that he can go only till Jonnada as action 30 is underway. The AP BJP chief's vehicles were stopped on the highway.

SI Durgaprasad tried his best in making Somu Veerraju understand that he cannot visit the place due to section 30 which was imposed in the region. With arguments going out of hand, Somu Verraju pushed the SI aside. He even asked who told the cops to stop him.

The issue got finally sorted after Somu Veerraju spoke to the SP. After a lot of talks, Somu Veerraju was allowed to visit Ravulapalem. Even while leaving the place, the AP BJP chief expressed his dissatisfaction with the lorry which was parked to stop his cars from passing the area.

Not just the SI, but even the lorry driver had to face the heat from the AP BJP President who could not control his anger over cops stopping him from going to Ravulapalem. He was stopped at Jonada. Tension gripped the area with Somu Veerraju creating a ruckus.

Protests erupted in Amalapuram as a few people had issues with the Konaseema region getting named after Dr. Br Ambedkar. Fighting against that, violent protests hit the Amalapuram town. Curfew was imposed to bring the situation under control.
