Somu Virraju revokes Lanka Dinakar's suspension

Soon after Somu Virraju took over, he decided to act tough of those adopting a decidedly pro-TDP outlook. He went hammer and tongs against such leaders. He had suspended leaders like former spokesperson Lakshmipathi Raja, Velagapuri Gopala and former TTD member OV Ramana. In fact, Gopala was the one who donated land for the party state office. After them, Somu Virraju has suspended Lanka Dinakar, who joined the party from the TDP. Dinakar is known to be knowledgeable and articulate. He was suspended for adopting pro-TDP outtook.
But, soon after suspending, pressure began to be built on Somu Virraju. In case of Lanka Dinakar, no showcause notice was issued. He was directly suspended. Due to this procedural lapse, he had to be taken back into the party. The suspension of some other leaders has also been lifted. However, two leaders have refused to rejoin the BJP. Velagapudi Gopalam is now officiating as the president of the AP unit of the Hindu Maha Sabha. The party leaders are now trying to woo him back into the party.
