AICC Chairperson Sonia Gandhi didn't mind describing Prime Minister Narendra Modi as arrogant, power hungry and dramebaaz. She opined the nation is vexed with the anti-people policies of Modi Government and only Congress can show the right way.
Sonia mocked Modi's 2014 Election pledge promising development and crack down on corruption. She alleged Modi Government has been resorting to political vendetta on the Opponents without mentioning the name of Karti Chidambaram. 'People realized Modi's Sanka Saath Sabka Vikas, Na Khaoonga Na Khane Dunga and Mann Ki Baat were dramebaazi. These are his tricks to get votes and grab power,' she said.
The political resolution moved by Congress at the 84th Plenary Session hints about the approach to unite like-minded parties to end BJP-RSS dominance in 2019. Other key aspects in the resolution - Prefer Ballot Papers instead of EVMs, No Simultaneous Polls and Debar Defected MLAs from contesting for six years.
