The verbal spat between ex skipper Sourav Ganguly and Indian Head Coadh Ravi shahstri has taken a dramatic turn. Its getting only murkier everyday as neither of them seem to stop blaming the other.
It all began when Cricket Advisory Committee ( CAC ) comprising of Sachin, Sourav & Laxman were interviewing probable candidates. While Ravi Shastri claims that Sourav has been unprofessional by skipping the meeting, Sourav argues that Shastri should have come to the interview in person, instead he was holidaying in bangkok.
Ganguly who is known for his aggressive nature said" If he thinks the reason behind him not getting selected as a coach is me, he is living in a fools world". This comment further agitated the already irate Shastri.
Both Sourav and Shastri have been highly vocal about the dispute and exchanged their dissatisfaction on an open platform. However Senior cricketers felt that this issue could have been managed more maturely by both of them, has they discussed in a closed room.
Sourav feels Anil Kumble is the best man for the job and he wished him all the luck for his future endeavours.
