Nalgonda SP Ranganath held a press conference over the murder of Pranay on Tuesday. 'Pranay was in 10th Class and Amrutha was in 9th Class when they fell in love. They had discontinued engineering in Hyderabad due to their love and got married on January 30th this year. Amrutha was 20-Years-Old when she got married. They planned reception on August 17th. Even DSP was invited for the occasion. DSP cautioned Amrutha about the suspicious activities of her Father. He told Amrutha that her Father isn't a good person and he might harm them. As per the advice of Police, Pranay arranged CCTV Cameras inside and outside his house. Maruthi Rao tried desperately to make Amrutha abort her child. He even pressurized Doctor Jyothi for the abortion. Amrutha's Mother have no role in the crime,' he revealed.
Maruthi Rao established himself as builder with hardwork and thereafter preferred wrong route to increase wealth. Cops will now enquire about his real estate activities. All isn't well between Maruthi Rao and his Brother Sravan since sometime. Maruthi Rao maintained dealings with Bari since 2011 and he conspired with him to kill Pranay. Maruthi Rao and Subhash Sharma decided to surrender after the murder. Rs 15 lakh was given to the killers at the Vijayawada highway on July 9th. Bari, Hazhgar and Karim distributed the advance among themselves. Murder has been planned since 3 months. Scooty with fake number and 3 SIM Cards has been used. They conducted recce since August 9th. Initial plan was to kidnap and then killing Pranay but they changed it later. The plan to kill Pranay at Beauty Parlour was called off due to the presence of his Brother. Subhash Sharma reached Miryalaguda on September 14th and killed Pranay as per Azghar's Direction. Post the murder, Maruthi Rao and Sravan went to Bengaluru via Hyderabad.

SP expressed his anguish over projecting Pranay's murder as Honour Killing. He opined Maruthi Rao has actually lost his honour by resorting to such a heinous crime. The Top Cop clarified Pranay's Murder doesn't have political connect though Maruthi Rao joined TRS two months ago. While Mohammad Bari was an MIM Member, Karim belongs to Congress Party.
