Not Centre, TDP MP Brings Good News!
By: Tupaki Desk | 10 Feb 2018 5:23 AM GMTCentre is likely to offer a good news to AP regarding the long-pending issues. However, This hint was issued by a TDP MP not the Union Government.
After the end of Parliament Session, Amit Shah convened a meeting with TDP and BJP Leaders. Centre agreed to fulfill the all promises of AP Reorganization Act 2014 in the two hour long meeting. This time, It's gonna announce specific time span to implement all of them.
Budget Sessions would resume on March 5th. Centre agreed to fulfill majority of the promises in the bifurcation act by then. Finance Ministry even offered to compensate revenue deficit for the first 10 months of financial year 2014-15. Amit Shah directed Railway Minister Piyush Goel to be prepared to announce Visakha Railway Zone at any moment. As ISRO raised objection for Durgapatnam Port, Centre is willing to establish it at any other location preferred by AP Govt. Kadapa Steel Plant will be established using Public Private Partnership (PPP) Model. There won't be any fund crunch for Polavaram Project. An announcement would be made on Kakinada Petro-Chemical Complex soon. These decisions were taken after AP CM directed Sujana Chowdary to brief Union Ministers Arun Jaitley, Piyush Goel and BJP chief Amit Shah about the demands once again.
Interestingly, All of this information was shared to media by TDP MP CM Ramesh. None of the representatives of BJP led-NDA Govt has offered any such assurances so far. Why didn't Arun Jaitley announce them in Parliament if centre has really come forward to do so?
