Hero Shivaji slammed the Ruling Party for increasing the debt of the state by compromising on Special Category Status. 'I haven't calmed down, but just waited to see what TDP Government would do with the Special Package. After Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu declared that we haven't achieved anything with it, We decided to intensify the movement for achieving Special Category Status. AP willn't be able to overcome the crisis without Special Status which is like a sanjeevani,' he said.
The Actor made it clear people aren't in a position to believe if TDP Government projects Polavaram Project as a sanjeevani. He demanded AP CM Chandrababu Naidu to explain why did he borrow a loan of Rs 33,000 crore in the past 3-and-a-half years. 'This debt is because of lack of Special Status. Special Status is like Sanjeevani for People not Heritage,' he opined.
Shivaji held Chandrababu Naidu & other political party responsible for the bifurcation of United Andhra Pradesh. He declared Telangana Statehood wouldn't been a reality had if Babu didn't offer his consent.
To mount pressure on AP Government to call for an All-Party Meeting to discuss Special Status, Shivaji is going to participate in 'Chalo Amaravati' and offer a representation to the Chief Minister. The party which he is going to join will be announced by the Actor soon.
